Ministry Opportunities 

Looking for somewhere to serve?  There is no better place to make an impact for God’s kingdom than The Genesis!  Imagine the impact you can make on a child when you show the love of Christ to an unloved child.  What life changes will you witness after you teach children about the gift of salvation?  Time spent in the Genesis is rewarding and fulfilling.

We are looking for people passionate for kids to serve in the following areas:

• The Hub:  One hour, once a month. Serve smoothies, redeem tickets for prizes,  have fun with kids! The Hub is open 5:30 - 6:30pm during Wednesday Night Live!
• Sunday Morning Drama Team:  Want to impact children, but don’t feel called to lead a small group or teach?  Do you like to act?  Then there is no better place to serve than on our Sunday Morning Drama Team.  Help the Bible come alive for kids on Sunday Morning by performing skits and telling stories.
• Set Design:  Like to build?  Like to use power tools?  Then you need to be on our set design team!  Each quarter we create a new world for our Sunday Morning kids.  Be a part of the magic!
• Special Friends:  Did you know that 94% of families with special needs kids can’t attend church because there is nowhere for their kids to go?  Be a part of our new Special Friends Ministry that ministers to the needs of these kids.  We need people to serve as One on One Buddies that will attend class with special needs kids.  Buddies develop a special bond with their children as they adapt teacher led activities to the needs of their child.  This is a fantastic way to spread God’s Kingdom!
• Elementary Dept. Small Group Leader:  This is a great way to build relationships with kids First through Sixth grade.  Each small group leader is in charge of a small group (4-5 kids).  After the Large Group teaching (led by a lead teacher) you will gather with your kids for discussion and activities pertinent to the lesson.  This is a lot of fun and a rewarding position.
• Preschool Dept. Teachers:  We are looking for a few individuals that would enjoy teaching our littlest treasures.  Curriculum, training  and supplies are provided, all you need to do is read the lesson and show up on Sunday!  Teachers are desired for all of our classes ages two through Kindergarten.
• Nursery Workers:  Love little babies?  Then this is the area for you.  We need workers ages 16 and up to love and comfort our babies during Sunday Services.  All you need is a lot of love, and a passion for babies.
