Welcome to The Genesis Special Friends! We are excited to announce that Special Friends will be ready to launch September 3, 2007! This means that all of our children, even those with special needs will have a program designed specifically for their individual aptitudes. We are excited to see God move in this important area.

As with any ministry, it is important to have a stated mission as well as an established set of values. The Genesis Special Friends have created a mission and values in line with what we believe:

Mission: To reach out to children with special needs and their families so that they may know that every person is a valuable and loved member of God’s family.

We believe that:
· All children are created in God’s image regardless of ability.
· All children are precious to God and are precious to the Genesis Children’s Ministry.
· All children are valuable members of their class.
· All children are offered the gift of salvation, independent of level of intelligence.
· The Genesis is to serve as a partner with the family to better serve their child.
· Our ministry is complete only when all children are able to participate in the Genesis.
