The Genesis Special Friends Placement Process

· Make an appointment with Special Friends Connector to review your child’s profile.

· Take a tour of facilities. Witness program at work.

· Meet with prospective Buddy. Discuss your child’s profile. Coordinate schedule with Buddy and exchange contact information.

· Attend class with Buddy and child. Meet afterward to discuss how we can best suit the program to your child’s needs.

· Buddy and child attend class alone second week.

· Meet with connector after fourth week participating in program to review progress and to make any necessary changes.
