Our goal at the Genesis is to support your home as the primary influence on your child's spiritual health.

We use a curriculum published by ReThink Group called 252 Basics. It is based upon the verse in Luke 2:52 "Jesus became wiser and stronger. He also became more pleasing to God and to people." We want our kids to follow this same path!

Each month we teach on a new virtue. Continue to check back here to see the virtue of the month and ways that you can help nurture this virtue at home.

Patience - it's a character trait that's important for all our lives, and it's never easy. This May in the Genesis we will be looking at what it means to be patient and to put our faith in God. As Ecclesiastes 7:8 says, "The end of a matter is better than its beginning. So it's better to be patient than proud." Come and learn about this very important virtue!

We worship a great God don't we? God gives us so many gifts and opportunities, and He allows us to have some many wonderful experiences with them. Sometimes, however, we forget that God not only gives us gifts, He also asks us to use them wisely. That's why this June we will be looking at what it means to live with the virtue of responsibility. Come and learn how we can really make the most of what God gives us!
